Grocery shopping for the holiday season. It is expensive.
I went in there about 3 days ago and I asked an employee who was working in the meat department how much a case of chicken leg quarters was, she told me "I don't keep up with the prices of everything" I ended up asking someone else who was in the back, behind the employees only sign, how much they were and he told me that they are $24, just last week the same case of chicken leg quarters was $15. I guess they jacking up the price for Thanksgiving. There was a few other items that I was going to get, but they were priced higher than normal. Just about every other time I've been in there, the employees are rude and even while checking out, they'll be having a conversation with someone who isn't anywhere near them. I've caught them double charge me for things on multiple occasions because they aren't paying attention and are gossiping with the other employees. After I bought some groceries from there several times and then about a month later I was cleaning out the pantry and I noticed that some of the stuff that I had bought a little over a month ago was out of date, not like a week or two but one thing expired in June of 2016, so now every time I go in there and buy anything, I'll check the expiration date (even on can food), but I will definitely check the date on the meat products. Buyer beware when going in here.
